Grand Hotel Guayaquil stands directly beside the Metropolitan Cathedral in the centre of Guayaquil, inside the Guayas region. The riverside commercial district along Simón Bolívar is less than one kilometre from the front door, reachable on foot. José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport is a ten-minute drive away, and the hotel runs a free shuttle from the airport on request.
