Grand Hyatt Goa

Grand Hyatt Goa sits on Bambolim Bay in the Aldeia de Goa area, about seven kilometres south of Panaji and twenty-five kilometres from Dabolim Airport. The property covers twenty-eight acres of gardens and lawns that run down toward the water, and the main building is styled after a seventeenth-century Indo-Portuguese palace — the arched corridors and tiled facades are a direct reference to Goa's colonial-era architecture, not a generic tropical hotel block.

Rooms and suites face either the bay or the gardens. The Shamana Spa sits at the waterfront and includes a free-form outdoor pool, a twenty-five-metre indoor lap pool, and a fitness centre. The spa and pool facilities are part of the main property rather than a separate annex, so you move between them on foot through the gardens.

The hotel runs Camp Hyatt, a supervised programme for children with its own recreational activities. Dining covers several restaurants and lounges on-site. The property is large enough that guests with no interest in the nightlife end of the offer and those who want it do not especially cross paths.

The bay is visible from much of the property, and the gardens buffer the hotel from the road.
