Set on the shore of Lake Shkodra in Balshaj, 8 kilometres from the city of Shkodër, Hysaj Agroturizëm combines 19 rooms and villas with 50 touring pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Hotel rooms include standard doubles, budget doubles, and family rooms that accommodate up to eight adults, some configured with two queen beds, two single beds, and two sofa beds. Select rooms open onto private balconies with pool views. Private wood-crafted villas and ground-floor apartments feature separate entrances, balconies with garden views, and small refrigerators. Camping pitches range from 40 to 80 m² and include electrical hook-ups up to 16 amps.

Two outdoor swimming pools occupy the lakeside grounds — a 260 m² main pool and a 46 m² pool for children — both operational during warmer months. Private beach access connects the property to the water. The on-site restaurant serves traditional North Albanian dishes prepared with locally sourced seasonal ingredients; slow-roasted goat is cooked over open fire, and fresh lake fish, homemade cheese platters, and seasonal salads appear on the menu. A buffet breakfast is included for overnight guests. Facilities include a tennis court, multi-sports field for football and volleyball, table tennis, darts, a climbing wall, children's playgrounds, a trampoline, and a zipline. Kayaks and canoes are available for rent; windsurfing and fishing are permitted on the lake. Bike rentals and guided walking tours depart from the property.
