Iganyana Tented Camp

Set inside Hwange National Park, an area roughly the size of Belgium, Iganyana's bush camps move rather than sit still, struck and rebuilt at fresh sites so guests stay ahead of the crowds. Each camp holds a maximum of six tents. The Luxury Bush Camp uses East African-style A-frame tents, each with its own en-suite bathroom, hot water bucket showers and proper beds, fully catered and privately guided throughout the stay. The Explorer camp trades canvas grandeur for dome tents and stretcher beds, with shared ablutions and fireside catering, suited to birders, hikers and families with older children. Survivor camp strips things further: lightweight dome tents, mattresses on the ground, shared showers and eco-latrines, built to move easily and to put guests to work in the running of camp. It is a stripped-down way to sleep in the bush. Days are shaped by walking safaris and game drives led by professional guides, with the pace left to guests rather than a fixed schedule. Guides work on foot as much as by vehicle, tracking game through mopane woodland and open pans. You can hear the park's wildlife directly from canvas, with no wall between tent and bush. Laundry service and private vehicle hire are available, and camps run on eco-friendly principles, from solar charging to minimal water use.
