Set in twelve hectares of tropical gardens on Tahiti's lagoon, InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa sits two kilometres from Fa'a'ā airport. Two hundred forty-six rooms and bungalows occupy eight three-storey buildings and overwater pontoons. Classic rooms measure 26 m² indoors with 6 m² terraces; 60 Premium rooms span 37 m² with 9 m² balconies overlooking gardens, the Lotus infinity pool, or ocean views toward Moorea. Junior suites run 44 m² with separate dressing areas, walk-in showers, and bathtubs. The one-bedroom suite holds 120 m² indoors and a 34 m² terrace. Thirteen overwater bungalows with ocean views stand 37 m² each, fitted with 13.6 m² decks. Two overwater bungalows face Moorea directly from the pontoon's end, each with 16.5 m² terraces. Eight premium overwater bungalows encircle a private motu with 32 m² decks dropping into the lagoon. One 65 m² overwater villa accommodates four.
Te Tiare Restaurant serves breakfast and continuous service through evening in the main building. Le Lotus, an overwater restaurant, opens daily for lunch and dinner. Huriama Garden offers tapas beneath banana trees. Tiki Bar runs live music; the swim-up bar sits within the infinity pool. An on-site PADI dive centre operates guided dives and certification courses. Two outdoor padel courts opened in September 2024. A protected lagoonarium shelters reef species. The Algotherm spa offers treatments; the fitness centre overlooks the grounds. Cultural demonstrations and weekly theme nights include Polynesian dance performances.
