The Islands of Siankaba occupies two small private islands in the Zambezi River, positioned between Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park. A series of walkways and bridges connects the two islands to each other and to the riverbanks, built from natural materials that sit quietly in the riverine vegetation. The lodge takes a maximum of fourteen guests across seven tented chalets, each positioned to face the river.

Six chalets are luxury tented suites with en-suite bath and shower, ceiling fan, tea and coffee station, minibar, and a verandah over the water. The seventh is a honeymoon suite with a private dining deck and the same fittings. All rooms have mosquito nets, pure cotton linen, a safe, and a Dyson fan for precise temperature control.

Activities included in a stay run from sundowner cruises and mokoro trips on the river to catch-and-release fishing, guided nature walks, and a visit to a local village on foot or by bamboo bicycle. Each stay includes a trip to Victoria Falls — the lodge arranges access to both the Zambian and Zimbabwean viewing sides. Off the islands, the lodge can arrange helicopter flights, elephant-back safaris, horse-back safaris, canopy tours, and game drives into the wider area.

Most of the staff come from the village nearest the lodge and have worked here since it opened.
