Jao Camp – Boating

When water levels allow, Jao Camp's boats cut through open channels and past dense reed banks, giving a different view of the Okavango Delta than a game drive offers. Herons, kingfishers and other water birds are common along the way, and hippo and crocodile often surface nearby. In the right season, the shy sitatunga antelope can sometimes be spotted moving through papyrus and floodplain grass. The outing depends entirely on flood levels and weather, so routes and duration shift through the year, and no particular sighting can be promised.
