Jao Suite

Raised on decking above the Jao Reserve floodplains, this suite opens fully on one side, sliding doors folding back so the lounge, bedroom and deck become one space. Outside, a plunge pool looks over the channel and surrounding wetland, with wildlife sometimes passing below. Inside, the bathroom has both indoor and outdoor showers, twin basins and a standalone tub, while a kitchenette and dining corner allow for private meals. A built-in daybed in the lounge folds out for a third guest. Wood, steel and glass keep the look plain and modern, with air-cooling, a fireplace, netting, Wi-Fi and a safe fitted throughout.
