Jet Over Hotel
A practical harbour-town base for travellers moving through Savai'i's main gateway
Set at the edge of Salelologa, Savai'i's main town, Jet Over Hotel works as a stopover for people catching the ferry or a connecting flight. The wharf is two minutes away and the airport five, which makes the hotel a natural first or last stop on the island rather than a destination in its own right. Shops, banks and the market cluster nearby, and a rental car desk on site lets guests push on to the Taga Blowholes, about a 20-minute drive. Rooms run in four grades: compact Mall Rooms above the shopping area, Lounge Rooms upstairs with a bit more space, two-storey Oceanview Rooms with a kitchenette, and Oceanfront Villas set right against the water with a private deck. All have air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. An outdoor pool with a shallow end for children sits beside a tropical garden, and Le Tolotolo Restaurant & Bar serves grilled fish, curry and pizza a few steps from the shore. Guests can borrow a canoe to paddle the coastline or arrange kayaking and snorkelling through the hotel. It is a working, unfussy property built around convenience rather than polish. Check-in is at 2pm and checkout at 10am, with a free shuttle and on-site parking covering the rest of the logistics.
