Kisubi Forest Cottages

Set at the edge of Zika Forest in Kisubi, sixteen minutes by road from Entebbe International Airport, the lodge comprises seven en-suite rooms across four room types. Four standard cottages hold queen beds, a kitchenette with fridge, a private bathroom, and a veranda overlooking the forest canopy. The honeymoon cottage has a king bed and a bathroom with a bathtub. The twin family cottage holds two queen beds, a bathroom with a bathtub, and accommodates up to four guests. One accessible two-bedroom house includes two separate rooms with queen beds, a shared bathroom, a kitchenette, a private lounge, and a veranda; the house is designed for wheelchair users.

The restaurant serves à la carte and buffet meals; tilapia is prepared whole on request. The bar stocks cocktails, mocktails, and smoothies. A garden extends through the property. Wireless internet and parking are complimentary. The lodge runs birding walks into Zika Forest, which covers twenty-five hectares and holds colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and vervet monkeys. Over sixty tree species grow beneath the canopy. A 120-foot steel research tower stands within the forest. You can hear forest birds from the veranda. Staff arrange nature walks, picnics, and visits to the forest tower through the lodge desk.
