Kuyenda Chalet
Reed-and-thatch rondavel overlooking the Manzi Riverbed's buffalo herds
Skip to product information
Built as a traditional rondavel of reed and thatch, in keeping with Kuyenda's old-style bushcamp character. The chalet looks out over the Manzi Riverbed, a spot regularly visited by large herds of buffalo. Inside, the bed converts to suit different guest configurations, and the room is en suite with an outside shower. Pure cotton linen and dressing gowns are provided, and a private balcony or deck gives a place to sit with the riverbed view. Mosquito nets cover the bed at night. One of only five chalets at this small camp.
