Kyaninga Royal Cottages

Kyaninga Royal Cottage sits on the bank of Kyaninga, a volcanic lake in western Uganda, with the surrounding countryside visible from every room. The eight en-suite cottages are built from local stone with thatched roofs — materials drawn from the region that suit the landscape. Each room has its own bathroom and a verandah looking directly over the lake, where you can sit outside without sharing the space with neighbouring rooms.

Meals are served in the shared seating and dining room, which keeps the same lake outlook. The kitchen puts out both buffet and continental-style breakfast options each morning. The property suits singles, couples, and families, and the room range reflects that.
