Lake Kariba Inns

Lake Kariba Inns occupies thirty-three hillside hectares above the eastern shore of Lake Kariba in Siavonga, southern Zambia. The resort looks out over the water from tropical gardens and holds fifty rooms across three tiers: twenty-eight standard rooms, fifteen executive rooms, and seven villas, each with its own private pool.

All rooms are en suite and air-conditioned, with a fan, framed mosquito net, fridge stocked with complimentary water, tea and coffee facilities, and DStv. Executive rooms add a private patio; the luxury executive category has a patio with a direct view of the lake. The villas carry their private pools and suit families or groups who want more separation from the main building.

Four swimming pools are spread across the gardens. The spa handles treatments; the gym is on site. Boating goes out on the lake itself. The resort also runs game walks through an on-site wildlife area, so you can see animals without leaving the grounds. Four conference and boardrooms — the largest seats two hundred and thirty — make the property a working venue for meetings and team events as well as leisure stays.

Siavonga sits on Chipepo Road on the Zambian side of the lake, close to the Kariba Dam wall.
