Overlooking the River Lee in Cork, Lancaster Lodge is a 48-room guesthouse five minutes on foot from the city centre. The building stands on Lancaster Quay, a riverside street connecting the English Market, University College Cork, St Fin Barre's Cathedral, and Cork Opera House. Founded in 1999 by owner Robert White and manager Susan Leahy, the property operates as a family-run base independent of hotel chains.

Double Deluxe rooms measure 20 to 24 m² and contain a king-size King Koil bed, rainfall walk-in shower, Nespresso machine, and desk with USB-A and USB-C charging points. Twin Deluxe rooms at 24 m² add a single bed. The two Riverview Junior Suites, each 36 m², hold a super-king bed, separate sitting area with armchairs, and views toward the river. Two ground-floor rooms are fitted with roll-in showers and grab rails.

Breakfast is served in a dining room each morning. The buffet table holds homemade breads, scones, natural yoghurt, granola, juices, cereals, and fruit; cooked dishes arrive to order. You can hear the sound of the Lee from the quayside. The property maintains a 24-hour reception, complimentary wireless internet, and on-site parking at no charge—a rarity in Cork's centre. Fitzgerald's Park, the Glucksman Gallery, and Triskel Christchurch each lie within ten minutes' walk. The Cork International Film Festival and Guinness Cork Jazz Festival take place in the city each autumn.
