Langani Safari
Langani Safari is a twenty-two-villa lodge set in private bushland near Chisamba in Lusaka Province, forty-five minutes by road from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport. The reserve carries rhino, lion, and buffalo alongside giraffe, zebra, and golden wildebeest — an unusual combination for a private reserve this close to a capital city. The property is malaria-free.
The villas are spaced apart across the reserve and built with floor-to-ceiling glass so that the bush is visible from inside. Each has a private plunge pool, an open-air bathtub, and an outdoor shower. Room service, satellite television, air conditioning, and a generator for uninterrupted power are standard across all twenty-two rooms.
On the activity side, rangers take guests out on drives through the reserve and lead walks through the bush on foot; there is also fishing and birdwatching. Two large dams on the property support pedal boating and wine tastings at the water's edge. The kitchen draws on locally inspired Zambian cooking and serves through a communal dining setup as well as on request. A bar, conference centre, and business centre make the lodge workable for small corporate groups as well as leisure guests.
The reserve is privately managed, with the animals enclosed within the property boundary and monitored by staff.
