Deluxe Bungalows

Set along a ridge inside Lapa Rios's 1,000-acre private rainforest reserve, these bungalows are built open-air with screens rather than sealed windows, blurring the line between indoors and out. There is no air conditioning; the design and ocean-facing position on the ridge keep a constant airflow through the room instead, aided by a fan. Each bungalow has a balcony or deck for taking in sunrise views and the surrounding forest sounds and smells. Rooms come with tea and coffee facilities and complimentary WiFi via fibre optic cable. The result is a room built around the reserve, not apart from it.
