La Estancia Equine Experience

A guide takes riders from the hillside stables of Vivero La Estancia along a trail through untouched tropical dry forest to a lookout over the ocean, then down to Sugar Beach (Playa Pan de Azúcar). Eight resident horses, cared for daily and kept in their own stalls at night, carry guests for ninety minutes of the two-hour outing. The visit also stops at the chicken coop and covers the farm's community and conservation projects, including a donation to the local Collective Impact programme. It ends with an organic local snack. Open to ages twelve and up; closed-toe shoes and sun protection recommended.
