Balloon Safaris
Aerial views over the savanna, ending in bush breakfast
Skip to product information
Lifting off before sunrise, the balloon rises over the savanna surrounding Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge, drifting on the wind rather than a fixed route. From altitude, guests can spot wildebeest herds in season, watch predators moving below, and take in the plain stretching to the horizon. The flight is unhurried, the pace set entirely by air currents rather than an engine. On landing, the crew lays out a bush breakfast in the open, a chance to sit down after the flight before the day's game drives begin.
