A guided tuk-tuk tour through Mto wa Mbu, the village at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park, led by a local guide known as Sunday. The route runs through banana plantations growing dozens of varieties, including sweet red bananas, and past rice paddies where guests learn how the crop is farmed. Stops include Makonde wood carvers at work and Tinga Tinga painters, with a chance to try painting alongside them, plus a visit to a primary school when open. The outing ends with a traditional Tanzanian lunch eaten under banana trees. Best combined with transfers to or from Ngorongoro.
