Private Dinner Under The Stars

Dinner is laid at the river's edge, lit by lanterns and candlelight rather than electric light. The table sits close enough to the water that the rapids are audible throughout the meal, the white water cascading over rocks nearby, with nocturnal river birds and the rainforest canopy providing the rest of the soundtrack. Mist drifting off the rapids often settles over the table as evening falls. Lodge staff serve the meal course by course, attending to the table directly rather than leaving guests to a buffet. It is a fixed setting, not a moveable picnic: the location is the riverside near the lodge itself.
