Meerkats Encounters

Tswalu protects three habituated meerkat colonies on its Kalahari reserve, and this outing gets you close to them without disturbing their routines. Guides time visits to the burrows for early morning, when the meerkats surface to warm themselves in the rising sun, or for late afternoon, when the group returns home to groom and play at dusk. Sightings happen at ground level, on foot, accompanied by an experienced guide who knows the colonies' patterns.
