Loei Palace Hotel
Loei Palace Hotel sits next to the city park in Loei, a provincial capital in northeastern Thailand where the province shares a border with Laos to the north. The hotel has one hundred and fifty-six guest rooms and suites, all with private balconies that look out over either the tropical garden or the city. Rooms are decorated in warm colours and furnished in a contemporary Thai style, with satellite television, minibar, shower over bath, and hairdryer.
For business travellers the hotel has a business centre and several meeting and seminar rooms that also serve as venues for weddings and private functions. The pool and jacuzzi are available for guests who want to unwind after a day out. Bikes are available to hire from the hotel if you want to explore the city and surrounding area at your own pace.
Loei province has several places worth a day trip. Phu Kradueng National Park is one of the region's main draws, a forested plateau that requires a walk to reach. The Huai Krating Reservoir is another option nearby. The province also hosts two well-attended seasonal festivals: a Cotton Blossom festival each February and the Phi Ta Khon ghost mask festival, held in June or July depending on the year. The hotel can arrange transport for excursions.
