Loggerhead Beach Villa

Loggerhead Beach Villa sits directly on the beach inside the Machangulo Private Nature Reserve in Cimbene, on the southern Mozambique coast. The villa takes guests on an exclusive-use basis: six en-suite rooms, twelve people, one property. The Indian Ocean is a short walk from the deck.

Each room has large glass stack doors that open onto a private deck with ocean views, a tea and coffee station, and a small bar fridge stocked with milk and water. Rooms two and five add a full bath and an outdoor shower. Rooms three, four, and six have indoor showers, and all beds are twins that convert to king. Room one sits at the far end of the deck, furthest from the main house, giving it the most separation from the shared areas.

The main house holds a bar, a communal dining deck, a pool, and barbecue facilities. Meals are all-inclusive; the kitchen also prepares gourmet picnics on request. Evening options include table tennis, darts, and pool.

On the water, the villa arranges kayaking, snorkelling, scuba diving, catch-and-release fishing, and boat trips. Turtle tracking runs seasonally on the reserve beach. Game drives, wildlife walks, scenic helicopter flights, and whale watching are also available. The team speaks English, Portuguese, and Afrikaans, and an airport shuttle can be arranged for the transfer in from Maputo.
