Varty Camp is the oldest camp at Londolozi, sitting inside Sabi Sand on the border of Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga. A campfire has burned at this site for over ninety years. The camp holds ten chalets — eight standard and two superior — all raised off the ground on timber decks under a heavy canopy of trees. Each chalet has a private plunge pool and a thatched sala overlooking the riverine bush. The eight standard chalets can be configured as connecting rooms, which makes the camp practical for families.

Rangers and trackers go out twice daily by Land Rover across more than fifteen thousand hectares of traversing. The tracker sits at the front of the vehicle reading fresh animal prints; the ranger drives. The reserve records four hundred and fifty bird species. Bush walks run in the cooler months. Dedicated photographic safaris position the vehicle by reading animal behaviour before the animal arrives.

The gym, wine cellar, massage treatment room, and the original Sparta Hunting Camp structure are all at Varty Camp and open to guests from all five Londolozi camps. A children's programme runs separately from the adult safari schedule, tailored to each child. Yoga is offered using an outdoor platform in the bush.

The camp is set within a private concession that shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger, so game moves through without restriction.
