Lone Star Hotel & Restaurant

The Lone Star Hotel & Restaurant is a seven-suite property on the west coast of Barbados in the Saint James district. The site was built as a garage in the 1940s and converted to a hotel and restaurant in the late 1990s. Each suite carries the name of an automobile — Cadillac, Lincoln, Buick, Studebaker, Shelby, Corvette — in reference to the building's history as a petrol station. The Coral Stone Beach House, a separate three-storey structure with direct beach access, holds the Lincoln penthouse and additional suites. The Lincoln penthouse spans 2,700 square feet across two floors. Buick and Studebaker are ocean-front suites with mahogany floors, four-poster beds, and private terraces overlooking the Caribbean. Shelby and Corvette are garden-view rooms in the beach house. All accommodations include en-suite bathrooms with soaking tubs and separate showers.

The restaurant occupies a beachside position and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. A wood-fired stone oven produces pizzas; a Little Stars menu is available for children. The kitchen combines European and British techniques with Caribbean and Asian ingredients. An on-site sommelier advises on the wine list. Spa treatments — massage, facials, body work — are delivered in-suite by appointment until 8pm. Concierge services arrange island tours, rum distillery visits, sailing excursions, and transfers. The hotel sits within tropical gardens and offers room service until 10pm. Bridgetown lies a short drive east; the Mount Gay Rum Distillery and Harrison's Cave are accessible by road.
