Tierra del Fuego National Park lies twelve kilometres from Ushuaia where the subantarctic forest meets the Andes and the Beagle Channel. Visitors explore winding trails that pass lakes, mountains, and varied vegetation unique to this southernmost region. The park includes Lapataia Bay, the terminus of the Pan-American Highway. Walks range in length and difficulty, offering views of the local landscape’s diverse colours and terrain. Access is via National Highway No. 3, covering twenty-one kilometres from the park entrance to Lapataia Bay.
