Lough Erne Resort
Set on a 600-acre peninsula within the Fermanagh Lakelands, Lough Erne Resort comprises hotel rooms, suites, and 25 self-catering lodges. Traditional rooms feature freestanding claw-foot bathtubs and king-size beds; lakeview rooms overlook Castle Hume Lough. Lodge suites, a short walk from the main hotel, include open-plan living areas. Two-bedroom turret-style lakeview lodges sit on the shore with direct water views; three-bedroom lakeview and courtyard lodges accommodate up to six guests with a choice of king or twin beds. Each lodge includes rainfall showers, Egyptian cotton bedding, and Voya toiletries.
Two championship golf courses occupy the grounds. The Faldo Course, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, is a parkland layout. A golf academy with a PGA professional and an all-weather driving range operate on-site. The Thai Spa houses an infinity pool, sauna, steam room, and fitness facilities. Treatments include hot stone massage, Thai herbal poultice massage, seaweed body wraps, and pre-natal massage. You can walk the Collop Walk, a trail that encircles the resort. Four restaurants serve seasonal menus using local produce. The Catalina Restaurant offers five-course dinners; Loughside Grill serves three-course meals. Wireless internet, tea and coffee facilities, flatscreen televisions, and complimentary access to the spa's thermal facilities are standard.
