Walking Safaris
Guided bush walks in South Luangwa with an armed scout
Skip to product information
Walks set out from camp on foot, led by an experienced guide and accompanied by an armed National Park scout, as required within the park. Away from the vehicle, the pace slows: guides point out tracks, dung, chewed bark and other signs of animals that pass unnoticed on a drive. Ground-level views bring smaller detail into focus, from insects to birdlife, alongside the chance of larger game. A vehicle with a canopy can be arranged to meet the group, subject to availability. It is a quieter, closer way of reading the Luangwa Valley than driving through it.
