Luangwa Safari House
Part of Phasec create
Luangwa Safari House sits in Kakumbi on the edge of the South Luangwa and is taken exclusively — one group at a time, whether a family with children aged seven and over or a party of friends. The building is solid and substantial from the outside; inside, the front opens fully to the bush through a large pivoting door, so the living areas look directly into wilderness with nothing between you and it.
The four double rooms are each decorated in a distinct style, loosely organised around natural themes — one reads as cool and aquatic, another earthy, a third airy, a fourth warm and textured. Each room is en-suite and has its own private verandah. The house also has a bar, a shared pool, complimentary laundry, and a mini-bar in each room. Meals are prepared on request, with vegetarian options available.
Activities cover the full range the Luangwa offers: game drives by vehicle, guided walking safaris, night drives, and boating on the river when the season allows. A game-viewing hide is on site. Cultural tours are available off-site for guests who want to spend time in the wider area.
Airport transfers are complimentary, and the property operates with 24-hour security. The house is managed under the Robin Pope Safaris portfolio.
