Kite Surfing

Kitesurfing here works because of a steady combination: consistent wind, a flat-water lagoon, and open-water waves nearby, all at Palmar Beach. Sessions run with Martin Kiteboarding and operate daily, weather permitting, between 10am and 5pm. The meeting point is near Palmaraie Beach, about ten minutes' walk from the resort at Crystal Beach. Guests are kitted out with a wetsuit, helmet, harness, coat and water shoes; bring a beach towel and sun cream. The lagoon's shelter suits learners, while stronger wind further out gives more experienced riders room to work.
