Cheza Guest House sits on a five-acre plot of indigenous old-growth trees in a rural part of Lusaka Province, about thirty-five minutes from the airport. The property belongs to MTT Safaris, whose owners live on site and welcome guests in person.

The cottage — Cheza 01 — has one bedroom with a queen bed and mosquito net, an ensuite bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, and microwave, and a combined lounge and dining area that seats four. A second cottage, Cheza 02, opened in August 2023 with two bedrooms; together the two units suit families or small groups of up to six. Each cottage sits in its own fenced garden and is completely private.

Half the five acres is left undeveloped — the owners call it the Wild Side — and guests are free to walk among the trees with a morning coffee. The plot holds turacos, sunbirds, bulbuls, nightjars, and several owl species, along with Vervet monkeys that drink at water dishes around the garden. From August through November, two species of large owl nest in boxes on the property and can be seen from the garden. Vehicles are kept on site for airport transfers at any hour and for early departures on road safaris.

Complimentary breakfast is included. Homecooked meals are available on request, and the owners invite guests to join them at the firepit in the evenings.
