Mana Sands occupies a private concession within Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe's Mashonaland West, set on the Zambezi floodplain. The property runs as two separate camps — Mana Sands Main Camp and Little Mana Sands — with twelve tents between them.

Main Camp tents sit above a wildlife pan on the floodplain. Each has glass sliding doors opening onto a private plunge pool, an outdoor shower, double vanities, and air-conditioning — useful in the Zambezi Valley heat. A family tent offers two sleeping areas divided by a solid wall, and is fully wheelchair accessible. Little Mana Sands is a simpler arrangement: canvas zipper-entry tents with ceiling fans and mesh windows, in king or twin configuration. The family tent here sleeps two adults and two children, with a shared bathroom including double vanities and a walk-in shower.

Guides take guests on foot through the national park, which has a long reputation for walking safaris. Canoe trips run along the Zambezi, and catch-and-release fishing for tigerfish and bream is available in season. Game drive vehicles seat up to ten guests. Because the camp sits on a private concession, limited night drives are permitted after dark — something camps inside the park boundary cannot offer. Over four hundred bird species have been recorded in the area, including Pel's fishing owl and carmine bee-eaters.

Both self-drive and fly-in transfer options are available.
