Mandarin Oriental Geneva

Opened in 1950 as the Hôtel du Rhône, the property was the first luxury hotel built in Europe after the Second World War. It joined Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2000. The hotel stands on the right bank of the Rhône River within the business district, near the Rue du Rhône shopping streets, the Old Town, and the Jet d'Eau. Geneva International Airport lies 5 to 7 kilometres away.

The hotel comprises 143 rooms and 35 suites across 178 units total. All rooms feature marble bathrooms. Signature Suites include separate living and dining areas; many hold private terraces with river views, and select units contain in-room hammam showers. Connecting rooms are available. One Superior Room is designed with accessibility features, including bathroom handrails, a roll-in rain shower with bench, and adapted doors and doorbells.

Ottolenghi serves a Mediterranean menu centred on vegetables. SACHI delivers a Japanese omakase experience. MO Bar operates throughout the day. A fitness centre, sauna, and steam baths occupy the wellness floor. Conference and banqueting facilities accommodate up to 350 guests across function rooms, some with Rhône views. On-site parking is available; valet service operates daily.
