Mandarin Oriental, Santiago operates in the commercial and residential district of Las Condes, close to two shopping centres, golf clubs, and ski-resort access routes. The hotel occupies a 24-storey building with a central atrium and 25,000 square metres of grounds that include a lagoon-style outdoor pool and landscaped gardens. Two hundred and ninety-nine rooms and suites face the city, the hotel gardens, or the Andes Mountains. Deluxe Rooms on higher floors feature polished wood, floor-to-ceiling windows, and separate lounge areas. Executive Rooms span 52 m² with Oriental-influenced décor and natural light from prominent windows. Club Rooms occupy floors 16 to 18 and grant access to the private Club Lounge.

Suites include the Executive Suite with a separate living room, marble bathroom, and walk-in wardrobe. The Terrace Suite adds a private outdoor terrace. Premier Suites provide a dining table for six and a guest bathroom. The Panoramic Suite on the 19th floor measures 141 m² with high ceilings, a kitchenette, and views across the skyline and golf club.
