Set on floors thirty-two to thirty-six of Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, the Deluxe Premier Room measures 50 square metres. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views towards Tokyo Skytree, taking in the city skyline below. The interior follows a contemporary Japanese aesthetic, worked in gold and warm orange tones rather than the cooler palettes found elsewhere in the hotel. It is a room built around its height and outlook: the higher floors keep the city at a distance, and the glass does the rest. A quiet, considered space, more suited to lingering by the window than to anything else.
