The Jahazi Suite at Mara Plains

Built entirely of canvas on raised decking made from reclaimed railway sleepers, this two-bedroom suite sits under a tree canopy with a clear line of sight to wildlife passing below. A shared dining area opens onto a wide private verandah, flanked by two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom fitted with double basins, an indoor shower and a bathtub. Ceiling fans keep the rooms cool. A path from the main living area leads to a private plunge pool. Guests here get their own game-drive vehicle and guide for the length of their stay, rather than sharing with other camp guests.
