Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti
Part of Phasec create
Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti Lodge sits on a rocky hill in central Serengeti National Park, looking out over the Musabi plains. The lodge is fifty minutes by road west of Seronera airstrip, a position that keeps it well placed for game throughout the year, including the wildebeest migration that crosses this part of the Serengeti.
There are twenty-five thatched rooms in total: twenty-three standard safari rooms and two honeymoon safari rooms. All are built into the edge of the plateau, with hardwood floors, four-poster beds with mosquito nets, and a private balcony facing the plains. Standard rooms run to approximately forty-seven square metres; the honeymoon rooms are larger at approximately sixty-five square metres and include a private lounge and double vanities. Each room also has an outdoor shower. Golf carts transfer guests between the main building and their rooms across the hillside.
The three-tiered main building holds the bar, restaurant, and an infinity pool. Game drives run twice daily — morning and late afternoon — on a shared vehicle basis; a private vehicle can be arranged separately. A hot-air balloon flight over the Serengeti departs at sunrise and lasts approximately one hour, followed by a bush breakfast. On-site activities also include bird watching and massages.
The lodge operates in English and Swahili and offers complimentary laundry and Wi-Fi. An airport shuttle is available on request.
