Horse Riding Safaris - Additional Cost - Mihingo Lodge Activity

Mihingo Lodge has run horse safaris inside Lake Mburo National Park since 2009, using a mix of eight thoroughbreds, warmbloods and Ethiopian ponies matched to rider weight and skill. Rides range from one-hour outings outside the park to four-hour routes reaching Acacia Valley or Warukiri Ridge, where Rothschild's giraffe, eland, buffalo, zebra and warthog are often seen at close range. Beginners walk the horses; experienced riders trot and canter. Guides accompany every ride, English saddles, helmets and chaps are provided, and groups are capped at six guests. Lodge guests get priority booking over outside visitors.
