Dune Dinners

Dinner is set on top of one of Tswalu's quiet red sand dunes, timed to the sun going down behind the Korannaberg mountains. Guests eat in the open air, with the meal cooked over a wood-fired barbecue and shaped by seasonal, local ingredients. Lanterns light the table once darkness falls, and the Kalahari sky fills with stars overhead. There is no other camp or road noise nearby, just the silence of the reserve around the dune. It is one of Motse's dining experiences, distinct from the boma barbecues and gourmet picnics offered elsewhere at the lodge.
