Deluxe Banda

One of two new deluxe bandas at Mount Gahinga Lodge, hand-built in the aesthetic tradition of the Bafumbira people and facing the Virunga Volcanoes. Inside, a fireplace, foam mattress, mosquito nets and a lounge area; the ensuite shower room has dressing gowns and a hairdryer. A private porch and verandah extend the room outdoors, with a balcony or deck view over the surrounding gardens and peaks. Other touches include a safe, telephone, tea and coffee facilities, and complimentary laundry service. The lodge sits at the foot of Mgahinga National Park, its direct footpath leading straight to gorilla trekking.
