Guest Bandas

Eight hand-built bandas, six doubles and two twins, raised in the aesthetic tradition of the Bafumbira people. Each has a private veranda facing the Virunga Volcanoes, an en-suite bathroom with double vanity and hot-water shower, a fireplace, mosquito nets and a safe. Dressing gowns, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities are provided, along with complimentary laundry service. Power sockets and Wi-Fi reach the bandas, though there is no air conditioning. Personal butler service is included for every guest, and a direct footpath from the lodge leads straight into gorilla trekking territory in Mgahinga National Park.
