Mozhi Bush Camp

Mozhi Bush Camp occupies the point where the Moshi River runs into the Lufupa, inside Kafue National Park in central Zambia. Six tented chalets — including a two-bedroom family unit — are set along a tree line that provides shade through the day. Each tent is en suite, with mosquito nets over the beds, solar lamps, hot water from donkey boilers, and a verandah. The setup is deliberately simple: canvas walls, natural materials, and the sound of two rivers at night.

Guides take guests out twice daily on game drives across the Mozhi Plains, which lie close to camp and hold a variety of wildlife through the day. Morning and evening boat cruises run on the Lufupa River, giving a water-level view of the park that a vehicle cannot. Guided walks and bird watching are also available from camp. The Busanga Plains — one of Kafue's most open seasonal floodplains and among its most productive wildlife areas — lie roughly forty-five kilometres away, reached on a full-day trip.

The camp has a restaurant with open-air dining, a bar, a pool, and simple spa treatments. A single group can take the whole camp exclusively. A private vehicle is available, and the operator runs charter flights through its own Cessna fleet for access across Zambia.
