Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp (Dec - Mar)

Each year the camp is dismantled and rebuilt to stay close to the migrating herds, shifting between the southern plains near Ndutu and the grasslands of the northern Serengeti. It is a working arrangement built around the animals' movement rather than a fixed address. The camp holds up to 12 tents and never more than 24 guests, kept deliberately small so the operation can be struck and moved without fuss.

Tents are simple and comfortable: mosquito-netted beds, an armchair, tea and coffee laid out, and an ensuite bathroom with a bucket shower. Two family quad tents join two bedrooms under one roof with a shared bathroom, useful for those travelling with children. A dining and lounge tent sits at the camp's centre, doubling as shelter from the midday heat and a gathering point after dark. You can expect a fire lit most evenings, with sundowners as the day ends over the plains.

Staff are local and the camp is owner-run, which shows in the pace of service rather than any polish. Meals lean toward generous, home-style cooking, usually more than most guests can finish. Game drives, walks and birdwatching go out daily, with hot air ballooning available depending on location. Check-in runs from 2pm.
