Set at 500 metres above sea level seven kilometres from the entrance to Amber Mountain National Park, Nature Lodge sits on a former pasture above the village of Joffreville in northern Madagascar. Twelve bungalows are built on stilts from local timber and materials. Each measures 35 m² and holds a double bed, a single bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a private wooden terrace facing either Diego Suarez Bay and the Mozambique Channel or the forest canopy of the Montagne d'Ambre. Bungalows are spaced to give privacy.

The restaurant has a timber frame and rosewood furniture beneath wide windows that open onto a north-facing terrace. Meals use vegetables from the on-site kitchen garden and seafood from the Diego Suarez market. A bar serves rum cocktails. Two lounge areas occupy the terrace beneath a thatched shelter. Wireless internet reaches the restaurant only. Thirty photovoltaic panels and 24 batteries supply power to the kitchen, lighting, and hot water; the system has run independently since 2016.

Amber Mountain National Park lies twenty minutes from the lodge by road. Trails within the park track ten lemur species, chameleons, orchids, and tree ferns. Day excursions run to the Tsingy Rouges formations and the limestone pinnacles of Ankarana National Park, 100 kilometres south. The lodge arranges transfers to Diego Suarez, thirty kilometres north.
