Set on a five-hundred-acre coffee plantation beneath the Oldeani volcano, Ngorongoro Farm House sits four kilometres from the Lolduare entrance to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The farm was opened in 2003. Fifty-two rooms occupy cottage blocks arranged in three wings connected by pathways through gardens and coffee fields. Forty-eight standard rooms hold twin or double beds, a sitting area, and a private veranda overlooking the plantation or gardens. Three suites add separate lounge space. Family rooms link two self-contained rooms through a connecting door. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with shower, mosquito nets, and ceiling fans. The property runs on solar panels with generator backup.

The main house holds a restaurant, lounge, and a large deck facing the volcano. Meals use vegetables grown in the organic garden year-round. You can walk the farm with a guide in the afternoon to see how the coffee plantation and vegetable plots operate. A coffee-roasting demonstration follows the tour. The property offers guided walks into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a ranger, ranging from two to four hours. Cultural visits to nearby villages can be arranged. A massage cabin, outdoor pool, and souvenir shop are on site. Laundry service and complimentary wireless internet are available.
