Nguni Lodge
Nguni Lodge is a small property on Ngugwuma Crescent in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, with fourteen rooms, each decorated differently. The size is deliberate — the lodge runs a concierge desk that can arrange activities, transfers, laundry, and excursions, and a smaller guest count makes that kind of attention practical.
Rooms fall into three types. Deluxe Pool View rooms have a sitting area and a private veranda with glass doors opening directly onto the pool area, walk-in showers, air-conditioning, dresser, and luggage racks. Standard Garden View rooms face the garden, have overhead fans and en-suite walk-in showers, and are fully equipped with fresh linen and amenities. The one Family Room has a king bed and a bunk bed with two singles, sleeping two adults and two children aged thirteen and under.
On site there is a pool, secure parking, and The Kraal Restaurant and Bar, which is for guests only. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner from a set dinner menu, and the bar carries beers, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout.
Victoria Falls and the Zambezi are the reason people come to this part of Matabeleland North, and the lodge's concierge can book most of what the area offers: river cruises, scenic flights, game drives, canoeing, fishing, horse riding, and guided walks, among others. Self-guided walks and bird watching are available from the property itself.
