Nooishof

Set within the 25,000-hectare Sinclair Nature Reserve in southern Namibia, Guest Farm Nooishof lies between the Namib Sand Sea to the west and the Tiras Mountains to the southeast. The property holds four suites, each with twin beds that convert to a king, en-suite bathroom with twin basins and separate toilet, fireplace, bar fridge, and private patio with sun loungers. Suite Tahlula is a family suite for two adults and two children under 15, with a king bed in the main bedroom and two singles in the second. All suites open to a shaded stoep with views across the reserve.

Guests share access to the Ouma House farmhouse, which contains a lounge, library, kitchen, self-service bar, wine cooler, and terrace overlooking the reserve. Owners Marc and Mariza Pampe ran lodges in Etosha for 26 years before establishing Nooishof. Three staff — Nakale, Aina, and Maria — bring 70 combined years in hospitality. Mid-morning breakfasts include fruit, homemade bread and jams, and eggs from the farm chickens. Light lunches precede early evening family-style dinners cooked with herbs and vegetables from the kitchen garden and honey from the hives. Guests may choose ingredients from the garden or observe Mariza making pasta, bread, or jam. Guided and self-guided nature drives, walks, and e-bike routes depart into the reserve. Pool, secure parking, complimentary internet access, and laundry service are available.
