Queen Mafalda

Known informally as the blue room, this queen suite draws on nature for its colour and decoration, with rustic timber furniture and dragonfly-printed linen on the bed. Blue-and-white ornaments and Mexican fabrics reference travels through Spain, Portugal and Mexico. Mafalda opens directly onto the car park and a private, hedge-walled garden, where birds are known to nest, visible from the bed. The room has an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. Some guests report it as the best night's sleep they have had, a claim tied less to luxury than to the quiet of the garden outside.
