Seraphina

A king bed sits beneath a wrought-iron headboard shipped from Rajasthan, framed by navy and pink ikat-print linen. Indian ornaments, purple and turquoise silk, peacock feathers and iron candelabras fill out the room, alongside a mix of small artworks, old photographs and collage pieces. A tiled patio opens straight onto the garden, furnished with peacock-motif iron chairs where guests can sit in the afternoon sun or arrange a private dinner outside. The en-suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer, and tea and coffee-making facilities are provided. The overall effect leans towards the ornate rather than the plain.
