Nuyanaya River Camp sits on the bank of the Lower Zambezi in Chiawa, roughly three to three and a half hours by road from Lusaka. The camp holds six tented suites in total: three Superior Suites facing the river, a bush-facing Kiaat Deluxe Suite set apart at the back of the camp, and two family configurations — the Acacia Family Suite with two bedrooms sharing a bathroom, and the larger Miombo Interconnected Suite, where two en-suite bedrooms are joined by a private lounge. Each suite has a private jacuzzi, a sundeck, air conditioning, and mosquito nets; the river-facing suites also have deep soaking tubs and outdoor showers. Rooms measure thirty-nine to sixty-three square metres.

Two activities per day are included in the rate, drawn from the Game Management Area: tiger fishing on the Zambezi (catch-and-release, closed from December through February), game drives into the Lower Zambezi National Park by boat and then four-wheel-drive vehicle, sunrise and sunset boat cruises, sandbank picnics, and village cultural excursions to a community a short drive from camp. The national park hosts elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and over three hundred recorded bird species.

The main area has an indoor-outdoor dining room, separate lounges, a boma, an infinity pool, and a bar that is fully alcohol-free; a mixologist prepares mocktails. The kitchen works with locally sourced ingredients and accommodates vegan, vegetarian, coeliac, and religious dietary requirements. A spa offers body treatments using Healing Earth organic products. The camp is open year-round.
